GCI Next - Development Fund
The vision of Healthy Church requires investing in people, providing opportunity for the ongoing development and training of leaders and identifying emerging leaders for the present and sustainability for the future. This includes training and development of leadership for the Faith, Hope and Love Avenues which cover the fundamental aspects of healthy church – the worship, discipleship and expanding the ministry of God’s love to our communities.
We aim to provide leaders with a variety of opportunities to attend conferences, training, coaching, options to undertake studies in: ACCM – Ambassador College of Christian Ministry, GCS – Grace Communion Seminary, GCIgnite events, Emerging Leaders training and Youth Development initiatives.
Donate to GCI
Our congregations are bound together in one denominational and organisational entity, governed by a National Board and administered by the Superintendent Australasia. Additional donations for direct support to the national office are appreciated
Through the years, many people have left a lasting legacy to the Church’s work by including the Church in their Will. The impact that this can have by providing ongoing support cannot be overstated, and weare grateful to all those who include the Church as a beneficiary of their estate. There are several different kinds of bequests. Whichever you decide is best for you will be a great help in continuing the work of the Grace Communion International.
ACCM educates and equips GCI pastors and ministry leaders in 35 countries around the world, including in some of the poorest parts of the earth. Our work is essential for the important development of healthy church leadership and healthy congregations. Your support enables us to fulfill this vital mission.
The ACCM Sponsorship fund helps the church provide training opportunities for individuals in cohorts in places like the Caribbean, Africa, and the Philippines. Help us fulfil our goal by helping others to share in the journey, and in our communion in Christ.
GCI Next - Development Fund
GCI Australia’s mission is to support youth to create positive change in their lives by creating an inclusive environment where they feel valued, heard and capable. We aim to provide this through education and training, skills development, capacity building activities through the local church. Various training and activities can be the basis for building community, teamwork and resilience.
If you would like to know about the possible tax incentives of supporting our youth program through your business, please contact us for more information.
National Equipment Fund
The national equipment fund aims to strategically invest in equipment and training for local congregations enabling enhanced online connections. This will improve streaming quality and professionalism in providing hybrid services for them. The items needed would include HD streaming cameras, laptops, streaming devices (encoders) and broadband mobile devices
Papua New Guinea
Our mission to bring the light of Christ into communities in Papua New Guinea (PNG), through equipping the local pastors and emerging leaders, including annual pastoral visits and ongoing communications with development of facilities to support the Mt Wilhelm PNG community
Members of GCI Australia have a long legacy of assisting GCI communities around the world – whether it be sending much needed funds to regions hit hard by a natural disaster, helping with construction of new buildings, or subsidising registration costs (among many others!). Donations to the Solomon Islands Fund will go to where it is most needed to support the church in this country.
We collect funds which are used for humanitarian purposes and helping those in need, especially in times of disaster.
GCI African Pastors' Basket
Pastors' Basket is an initiative developed between GCI Australia and Africa with a vision to provide a means for uplifting the lives of individuals, families and churches, through training and skills development. The start-up funds provide seed capital for income generating projects, a portion of which is used to help support the local pastor. Projects are based on Asset Based Community Development which aim to be sustainable and capacity building for all involved.
A current project is in place in Kenya for Refugees, where families will be enabled to work on their own, feed, clothe and support their families without the need to seek handouts. This recognizes and builds on their capabilities – with the aim of providing sustainable employment, raised living standards and a brighter future for the children.
